ANAHITA PESTONJAMASP

FLUTE COACH/FLUTE ENSEMBLE

Anahita has played the flute since middle school when she attended SEMS.  We are glad to have her back in the capacity of an educator! Anahita holds a Master of Music degree from the Mannes School of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Music degree from San Diego State University.  Eager to learn more about music education, Anahita is going to keep the tradition of the Flute Choir here at SEMS! 

NEHEMIAH "NEMO" BOSCIA

BRASS COACH

A Graduate of Mission Hills High School, Nemo is a product of the San Marcos District.  He is currently pursuing his degree in Music at Palomar College with plans to transfer to SDSU. Nemo also works at the San Diego Music Studio. He conducts Brass Ensemble after school. 

CLIFFORD MORIN

SAXOPHONE/CLARINET COACH

HOUSE JAZZ DIRECTOR

Clifford Morin is an eclectic Saxophonist, multi-woodwind instrumentalist, producer and composer. 

Clifford has a BM in Jazz Performance from West Chester University and also has a MM in Jazz Performance from Philadelphia's Temple University as well as attended Amsterdam Conservatory of Music (Netherlands) during his graduate studies. Clifford lived in Philadelphia for the last 7 years where he had an avid freelance performing and recording career.

Since moving to Southern California Clifford has been performing, teaching and focusing on his own music and artist image as well as working on his debut album. We are so excited to have him at SEMS! 

 

 

BERK SCHNEIDER

LOW BRASS COACH

Berk maintains a small studio and enjoys teaching brass instruments (trombone, trumpet, euphonium, tuba) to beginner and intermediate players in Southern California. With over 15 years of experience teaching privately in public schools and preparatory colleges, many of his students have gone on to pursue music professionally. Berk has enjoyed a diverse playing career, having played with musicians of the Firelands, Houston, La Jolla, and Poway Symphonies as well as Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt, Germany. Tom Sayer

PERCUSSION COACH

Tom is a product of the San Marcos Unified School District and a graduate of San Marcos High School where he was in the marching band, percussion ensemble and various other groups for 4 years.  Tom is so excited to be back where he learned to play percussion and loves working with the students, especially the beginners. We are excited to have his talents back at SEMS!
